• On Upwork: Submit proposals with custom messages that address the client’s needs.
• Be patient, landing your first job may take time.
7. Set Fair Prices
• For beginners, start with competitive pricing (e.g. $5–$15 for simple tasks)
• Increase rates as you gain positive reviews and experience
• Use M-Pesa or PayPal to receive payments
8. Learn How to Communicate Professionally
• Respond to messages promptly
• Be clear, polite, and professional

• Deliver work on time

10. Comply With Tax & Legal Requirements (Kenya)
